In the 1980s, a fourth-generation building contractor named Fred Carl became very dissatisfied with the quality of the ranges that were being sold to consumers for home use. After making an exhaustive study of the flaws, he introduced in 1987 a residential range that was comparable in scope and quality to the models being offered to commercial customers. Reception of these products was so positive and demand so high that Fred Carl made the leap of faith to open his own manufacturing plant in his home town of Greenwood, Mississippi in 1989. In the decades since then, the company has continued to expand and prosper. Today, it manufactures not only premium quality ranges, but also professional refrigerators, freezers, countertop appliances, cutlery, cookware and dishwashers.
If you own a Viking appliance, you have wisely entrusted your culinary needs to a company whose mission is to provide premium, commercial-quality products to consumers in their homes. Should any of your Viking appliances need repair, rest assured that the company is committed to restoring them to their peak performance. To that end, they have partnered with service providers such as My Appliance Service to provide you with fast, precise, factory-authorized repairs. Our technicians are specially trained in Viking’s repair protocols, and we use only factory-authorized parts.
All technicians are required to attend and pass training twice a year. During these conferences, not only do our technicians master the repair procedures, they are encouraged to offer suggestions in technological improvement for the manufacturers. This professional relationship helps the manufacturers produce greater products, and helps our customers receive higher quality, longer lasting appliances.
